Forest Lake Elementary’s 2^nd graders paid tribute to the American flag in front of friends and families in an entertaining way through musical selections directed by Ms. Cavallo.

The special performance began with each student ceremoniously planting a small American flag into the ground before lining up in front of the flag pole. Selections of America's most patriotic songs like God Bless America were performed as well as the popularly known song, Fifty Nifty United States song. The song, always a crowd favorite, was a hit to family and friends where some remembered singing it as a child years ago.

An encore performance was held for the school and faculty in the gym immediately following.
